Royal China connects the Chinese cities and enables with its young and modern fleet a safe and comfortable travel at favorable prizes in two classes. We are constantly optimizing our network to adapt the routes to the demand.

Airline News:
2016-05: We are currently modernizing our fleet and have almost completed the replacements of our 777 fleet with new and modern 787 models. As soon as the Bombardier CSeries will be delivered we plan to make a major replacement effort to phase out the Superjet. At the same time we have started to replace our 737 fleet with newer and more efficient models. This will be an ongoing effort over the next half a year we reckon.

2016-06: We have completed a rebranding of the airline with simplifying our iconic crown logo and refreshing our color scheme. This also concludes new liveries for the whole fleet as well as brand new cabin interiors.

2016-08: The change-over of the fleet is still in full progress. Old aircraft are constantly being phased out and replaced with brand new models. Unfortunately we had to give up the idea to replace the Superjets with the new CSeries as the turnaround times do not allow a replacement due to the unfavorable slot situation at most airports. We have therefore decided to introduce brand new Embraer aircraft to take over the roles of our Superjets. There are still more than 100 to replace but we are optimistic to finalize the transition soon.

2016-10: We have now managed to phase out all of the Superjets. Although we were very happy with the reliable and modern jet, the lack of different sizes was a key criteria to replace this aircraft. With the Embraer we managed to further improve the average age of our fleet while being able to adjust the capacity better to the varying demand on certain routes. The average age is now well below 2.0 years.

2016-10: Luckily due some available slots we could introduce more frequencies from TNA to major European hubs and introduce two new destinations (LHR and MUC). This shows are ongoing commitment to strengthen our network.

2016-12: With the dramatic liquidation of East China Air we try to phase in as many aircraft as possible to provide flights for any stranded passengers. Our operation at the major hub PEK has doubled within a day. We will continue to introduce new flights as we can get hold of aircraft.

2016-12: The growth in the last few weeks has been quite tremendous and continues. We are very proud to have hired our 100,000th employee just before year-end and continue to encourage young people for a career in aviation. We will require more staff in the coming weeks to fuel our growth.
